The Yoga-Heart Connection: Johns Hopkins Medicine | Yoga relaxes the body and mind. Emotional stress can cause a cascade of physical effects including elevated cortisol, narrowing of arteries and increased blood pressure. Yoga connecting breath with movement can offset stress. Yoga may not only lower blood pressure but may lower cholesterol, blood sugar, and resting heart rate. Yoga can improve flexibility, muscle strength and balance. This is a great counter balance to vigorous aerobic exercise.

Are you curious about yoga but don’t know where to start? “Fiery Flow” is the perfect introduction for beginners, offering a welcoming environment to explore the benefits of yoga in a heated setting. This class is designed to gently guide you through poses and breathing techniques, helping you build confidence and flexibility.
Join us at True Nature Wellness in downtown Sandusky and experience a transformative journey that caters to all levels. With the warmth of the room and the guidance of our skilled instructor, Fiery Flow is an excellent way to try yoga and feel rejuvenated. You can attend as many sessions as you wish, there is no requirement to attend all sessions.

Chair Yoga

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair or standing using a chair for support. Yoga poses are adapted so that you still build strength and flexibility. It is especially beneficial to those who have bad knee or back trouble or find it challenging to get up and down from the floor. This class compliments restorative and yin yoga classes. It’s a great place to start after an injury as well.
